Meet The Pros


Our friendly PGA Teaching Professionals are on hand to provide you with instruction, support and inspiration. We also offer club fitting and club repair services and Café T, located at the academy building, is the perfect venue for those wanting to refresh themselves before or after their lessons. 

Nikki Hunter – Head Teaching Professional

Nikki is from Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. She started playing golf at the age of 12 when her father took her along to junior coaching classes at the local golf club. Excelling at county level she went on to compete internationally at University. It was at University studying Sports Development and Coaching that she found her love for coaching golf. Nikki started her PGA training in Newcastle upon Tyne specializing in junior and ladies coaching programmes. Once qualified, she moved to The Address Montgomerie Dubai. During her time in Dubai, Nikki successfully managed the Ladies Development Programme as well as growing her individual clients. A certified TPI Level One instructor, Nikki continues to develop her coaching technique through researching different teaching methods, coaching drills and teaching aids. Nikki believes in simplicity and repeatability to ensure each individual understands their own swing and are able to manage their way around the golf course.

Juan Manuel Fuentes – Teaching Professional

Juan comes from Andalusia in southern Spain, popular for its climate and famous golf courses. At the age of 9 he started playing golf as an after-school activity going on to represent Andalusia in national tournaments. He turned professional at the age of 20 and competed in several tours including the Spanish Tour, Alps Tour and achieved a few victories on the Andalusian Tour. Juan’s view on golf has always been strongly influenced by the Ballesteros brothers having learned golf as a youngster at the San Roque Golf Club academy belonging to the famous brothers. In 2011 Juan moved to Poland to work at Sobienie Krolewskie Golf Club in Warsaw where he was responsible for coaching beginners, national Junior champions and National Professionals. Recently he has been focused on golf fitness and took part in the Spanish PGA coaching program last year which gave him a deeper knowledge of methods, techniques and junior training. Juan believes in the importance of a neat posture and grip for a successful swing. He also likes to constantly transmit his passion and the importance of short game.

Zander Potgieter - Teaching Professional

Zander was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa until moving with his parents to Saudi Arabia at the age of 13 for five years. He started playing golf after watching Ernie Els on television and hitting golf balls in the back garden at the age of 10. He was instantly hooked on the game and soon after was selected for the Gauteng North Provincial side at the age of 13.
After his stint in Saudi Arabia Zander went on to pursue his golfing career and graduated with a diploma in Club Professional Golfing and Management. He completed his apprenticeship at the prestigious Pinnacle Point Estate in South Africa and graduated with the PGA of South Africa as a full member in 2016.
Zander takes great satisfaction from seeing his students performing better every day and knowing that he helped them achieve their goals. He believes that with a good tempo and good timing anyone can strike the ball well as long as the basics are in place.
