The BAPCO pipelines to the left of holes 11, 12 and 17 and to the right of holes 8, 14 and 15, defined by stakes with green tops, represent an Environmentally-Sensitive Area/Ground Under Repair (ESA/GUR) in which play is prohibited. If a player’s ball lies in the area, or if it interferes with the player’s stance or area of his intended swing, the player must take relief under Rule 25-1. Drop your ball within one club length from your Nearest Point of Relief (NPR) no nearer the hole. No penalty.
A ball which crosses or runs through an Environmentally-Sensitive Area/Ground Under Repair and comes to rest beyond that ESA/GUR, is deemed out of bounds even though it may lie on another part of the course. The player must take relief under Rule 27-1. Add one stroke penalty and play a ball at the spot from which the original ball was last played.
